Old Enfield Main House

Our main design goal on this rental property was to create a modern refresh without disrupting its character or historic status. Built in 1935, the 3,400-square-foot two-story Colonial is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and sits on the southern boundary of the Old West Austin Historic District, located one block from Pease District Park. Our goal was to showcase the historic grandeur of the property, but bring to it a modern, eclectic vibe. It was essentially a blank slate, so we were told to go wild.

This project earned us Hgtv’s Designer of the Year, color and pattern category in 2021.
