Old Enfield HISTORIC Main House

For this historic 1935 home in Austin’s Old Enfield neighborhood, our goal was to create a bold, modern refresh without losing the character and architectural history that make the property special. Christen Ales Interiors layered rich color, graphic pattern, modern furnishings and unexpected details throughout the 3,400-square-foot home, creating a distinctive short-term rental experience while honoring its historic setting.

This project earned us Hgtv’s Designer of the Year, color and pattern category in 2021.
