Urban Tulum in EAST Austin

The goal for this Austin short-term rental was to create an Urban Tulum-inspired setting that felt relaxed, elevated and connected to its East Austin location. Christen Ales Interiors designed the new build from the ground up, selecting the finishes, furnishings and decor to create a warm, modern vacation rental with natural textures, layered materials and a distinctly Tulum-inspired aesthetic.

Urban Tulum was featured in EASTside Magazine’s 2024 Homes coverage, highlighting the project’s Tulum-inspired interiors, bold use of color and pattern, and elevated approach to short-term rental design in East Austin.
